BELLEVILLE – The City of Belleville’s Community Services Department would like to thank all residents and visitors who enjoyed the Kinsmen Community Outdoor Pool this season, along with staff who worked tirelessly to provide the community with a fun and safe experience this summer. Monday, Sept. 4 will mark the last day to enjoy a dip in the pool until it reopens in June 2024.

More than 5,500 participants have taken part in outdoor play this summer at the Kinsmen Pool. In addition to recreational swims, Kinsmen Pool hosted swims for the City’s summer camps, birthday parties and the Belleville Beast Swim Team.

Beginning Sept. 18, clients will be able to use the Templeman Aquatic Centre pool located indoors at the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre at 265 Cannifton Rd.

For other fun, cooling opportunities, the City’s splash pads located at Riverside, Parkdale and Kinsmen Parks remain available 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends (weather permitting), with the last day of operation being Oct. 9 (Thanksgiving Monday).

Visit the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre (QSWC) website for additional information.
