BELLEVILLE – The City of Belleville is excited to announce the return of the Older Adult (50+) Information Fair, set to take place on Tuesday, Sept. 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre. This free event, hosted by the City’s Community Services Department, is an excellent opportunity for adults aged 50 and over to access a variety of community resources in one convenient location.

“The Information Fair is returning with over 50 exhibitors providing a variety of community resources together in one building,” said Brenda van De Keere, the City’s Recreation Programmer for Older Adults. “Several information seminars are planned between 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. and an ASL interpreter will be on site for each of them. We will also have free tote bags, complimentary light snacks, vaccinations available from Hastings Prince Edward Public Health during the fair (Adacel, Prevnar 20, Shingrix) and free hearing clinics provided by Canadian Hearing Services.”

All activities will be on the main floor at the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre. Exhibitors will be in the Gymnasium from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Presentations will be in Belleville’s 50+ Centre between 11:45 a.m. and 3 p.m. Seminars will provide information on an array of topics that will be of interest and relevance to older adults:

  • 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.:  Canada Dental Care Program, Presented by:  Service Canada
