2025 June is Recreation and Parks Month and Seniors Month

Join the City of Belleville’s Community Services Department in June as we celebrate "June is Recreation and Parks Month" (JRPM), supported by Parks and Recreation Ontario and the Canadian Parks and Recreation Association. June is also recognized by the Ontario Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility as Seniors Month. The Community Services Department is promoting both JRPM and Seniors Month by encouraging physical and mental engagement through free programs available all month long at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre. Enjoy activities for staying active both indoors and outdoors!

A huge THANK YOU! to everyone who attended the June 3 Activities in the Park Event.
With nearly 500 people in attendance, it was a resounding success.
We could not have done it without the support and partnership of the many community groups and City of Belleville teams. It is through collaborations with dedicated groups, Mayor, Council and City staff that we can further strengthen our shared community spirit and love for our beautiful City of Belleville.

Mayoral Challenge Video will be posted soon along with the winner of the challenge.
The Community Cornhole challenge overall winner will also be posted at the end of the month.
