BELLEVILLE – The City of Belleville is pleased to announce that even during COVID-19 restrictions and re-staged openings that they will be able to offer the children in the community some fun, outdoor activities to participate in this summer.

Recreation staff will offer morning and afternoon programs in a number of area parks from July 5 to August 27, Monday through Friday. The park locations will be Thurlow Park, Riverside Park, Parkdale Veterans Park, Kinsmen Park, Robin Jeffrey Park (East Hill), and Zwick’s Centennial Park. This program is designed to provide children ages four to twelve with an opportunity to socialize with other children outdoors, make new friends, play games, make crafts, and have fun.

Registration for these Summer Activities in the Park programs will begin Monday, June 7 for City Taxpayers and Thursday, June 10 for Non-City Taxpayers.
