Due to COVID-19, there are a number of changes to our programs and services. Registration for Fall Session "B" begins October 13 for City Taxpayers and October 16 for Non-City Taxpayers (online and by phone registration only). All the programs can be found in the Fall Activity Guide. Programs start the week of October 25 and run to December 19. Registration for pickleball begins October 20 and can be done in one week increments with new courses released each Tuesday. Registration for recreational swimming is open and available in one week increments with new courses released each Wednesday.
The Recreation, Culture and Community Services Department has created some online workouts that you can do in your own home. We know you are missing your regular routine and your fitness and workout programs at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre. If you aren’t able to come here, we thought we would come to you!
The workouts have been broken down into Youth, Adult and Older Adults. Find the level that best fits you and follow the workout. If you are unsure what the exercise is, click on the link to watch a short instructional video on that specific activity.
Please Note: As with all exercise programs, when using our routines, you need to use common sense. To reduce and avoid injury, you will want to check with your doctor before beginning any fitness program. When performing any fitness exercises, you are performing them at your own risk.
